2025 Hill’s Maryland Classic Meet Information

Meet Information

  • When: Friday, January 17 – Monday, January 20, 2025 (Martin Luther King weekend)
  • Nastia Liukin Qualifier: The 2025 Hill’s Maryland Classic is thrilled to once again be a Nastia Liukin Qualifier! One top Junior and one top Senior Level 10 athlete will qualify to compete in the 2025 Nastia Liukin Cup.  For more information on the Nastia Cup, see https://nastialiukincup.com/faq/.
  • Venue: University of Maryland School of Public Health Gym Facilities
    • 4200 Valley Dr. College Park, MD 20742
  • Levels: Level 2 – Open (Level 10) and Xcel levels Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Sapphire
  • Cost:
    • $145 Level 6-10 and Xcel Diamond and Platinum
    • $125 Level 2-5 and Xcel Bronze, Silver, and Gold
    • $60 Team fee per level
    • $25 non-refundable deposit per gymnast
    • December 6, 2024 – Scratch deadline and final payment due.  Changes/additions to rosters will be made until January 13, 2025 as long as space is available.

  • College Meet:  The University of Maryland has a home meet over the weekend.  And it’s a big one – the Maryland Terps will be competing against the UCLA Bruins!!!  We are also excited to announce that for the 2025 Hill’s Maryland Classic, every competing athlete, coach, and attending family will be able to attend the competition for free!

Meet Admission

  • 13 years and older $25
  • 6 to 12 years, Seniors 65+, and Active Duty Military $15
  • 5  years and under Free

Spectators are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance via EventBrite.

NOTE: An admission ticket allows access to both gyms (Red Gym and Gold Gym) for the date purchased, with the exception of the Level 10 sessions. Tickets to the Level 10 sessions will be sold separately, and spectators will need a Level 10 entrance bracelet to attend Level 10 sessions.

College Meet Admission

The UMD-UCLA Big10 meet will take place at 7:30pm on Saturday, January 18, at the University of Maryland’s XFINITY Center.  The meet that weekend will be free, and no tickets will be necessary to attend.  We have scheduled our meet sessions for the weekend so that they do not overlap with the college meet, encourage all participating athletes to bring friends and family members to cheer on the college gymnasts.  Help us help UMD break its attendance record!!!

Parking

Free parking is available Friday, Saturday, and Monday at the Terrapin Trail Garage, as well as Sunday after 1:30pm.  When you enter the garage, park as close as you can to the central elevator, then proceed to the ground floor and walk south across the footbridge to the School of Public Health.  (If you’re walking toward the Xfinity Center, you’re going in the wrong direction).

The Terrapin Trail Garage is not available to Maryland Classic attendees Sunday before 1:30pm due to a college basketball game that begins at 12pm.  For parking options on Sunday before 1:30pm, the following options are available on UMD’s campus: Lots 1,2,3, Union Lane Garage, Stadium Drive Garage, as well as any metered spots aside from the metered spots in Lots 6, UU, and the Xfinity Visitor Parking Lot.  These options can be found on the Campus Parking Map, which can also be accessed via the UMD Campus Parking Website: https://transportation.umd.edu/parking/maps/umd-campus-parking-map.
